Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open hood, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Release the hood latch and open the hood.
3. Using a small flat blade screws driver, pry hood ajar switch from the bracket.

Hood Ajar Switch:

4. Disconnect the wire connector from the hood ajar switch and remove the switch.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the wire harness connector to the hood ajar switch.
2. Snap the switch into the switch opening.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.
4. Close the hood.
