Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove both wiper arms using tool No. J-8966 or equivalent.
3. Remove cowl top vent screen.
4. Remove drive link from crank arm.
5. Disconnect electrical connectors from wiper motor.
6. Remove wiper motor attaching screws and the motor.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque motor attaching screws to 40---58 inch lbs. and drive link attaching nuts to 49---80 inch lbs.
