1986 PONTIAC "N" GRAND AM Quartz Speedometer:

1. BASE TELLTALE & GAGE PACKAGE CLUSTERS

All instrument cluster components except the speedometer and tachometer will continue to be serviced by the car dealer. Replacement parts should be obtained through WDDGM with the exception of the speedometer and tachometer, which must be serviced through AC-Delco authorized service centers. See dealer bulletin 86-SM-10A for policy and warranty information.

NOTE: Kent-Moore Tool #J-33431-B, signal generator and instrument panel tester, will aid in the diagnosis of speedometer, tachometer, fuel economy displays, fuel level, oil pressure and temperature, and coolant temperature gages and telltale displays. Electronic clusters can also be diagnosed with this tool.
