Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove starter motor to engine attaching bolts.
3. Disconnect starter electrical connectors, then lower starter out of vehicle.
4. Note installation position of starter shim, if equipped.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
