Trunk / Liftgate: Description and Operation

With the Ignition Switch in "RUN" and the gear selector lever in "PARK," voltage is applied through I/P Fuse Block Fuse 2 to the Luggage Compartment Lid Release Switch. When the switch is closed, voltage is applied to the luggage compartment lid release actuator, releasing the luggage compartment lid.
