Troubleshooting Hints - Power Windows

TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK.
1. Always check terminal contact before replacing any component.
2. If Express Down Function does not operate, but window operates, check for battery voltage at express down window module connector terminal a and DK BLU (164) wiring from Express Down Window Module terminal C to splice S500 for an open. If both checks are okay replace express down window module.
3. If a motors internal circuit breaker trips, it does not reset until voltage is removed from motor.
4. if power windows do not operate for approximately 10 minutes (or until a door is opened) after Ignition Switch is turned to off, refer to Accessories and Optional Equipment for diagnosis. Accessories and Optional Equipment
