I/P Courtesy, Rear Courtesy/Reading and Dome Lamps
Voltage is applied through Fuse 28 at all times to the Door Courtesy/Warning Lights, inside Lighted Mirror Lamps, I/P Courtesy Lamps, Rear Courtesy/Reading Lamps and to the Dome Lamps. The Door Courtesy/Warning Lighted Mirror, I/P Courtesy, Rear Courtesy/Reading Lamps and the Dome Lamps will light whenever a door is opened or whenever the Headlight Switch is turned to "DOME." The Inside Lighted Mirror Lamps and the Rear Courtesy/Reading Lamps also have a separate switch in the circuit. When turned to "ON," this switch allows for individual operation of these Lamps. The Headlight Switch controls the sustained illumination feature for the Courtesy Lights. After all the doors are closed, the Headlight Switch will keep the Courtesy Lights ON for approximately 16 seconds, gradually dimming the lights until they are OFF. Energizing the Power Door "UNLOCK," with either the key fob or the Door Lock Switch, will also trigger the sustained illumination feature. If the Ignition Switch is turned "ON," the sustained illumination will be defeated, overriding the Power Door "UNLOCK" input. The Remote Door "LOCK" input from the Keyless Entry Receiver will also defeat the sustained illumination feature.
