Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check HDLP Circuit Breaker and HTR-A/C Fuse.
2. If BRAKE Indicator is lit with Ignition Switch in RUN and Park Brake released, refer to Brake Lamp (Warning Indicator). Brake Warning Indicator
3. If Park Lamps do not operate, refer to Lighting and Horns for Exterior Lights.
4. Check that grounds G101, G102 and G200 are tight and clean.
5. If one Headlamp or Fog Lamp does not operate properly, check lamp, connections, and wires to lamp.
6. If Automatic Lamp Control does not operate properly, check for obstruction in front of Photoresistor.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (refer to Diagnostic Aids for General Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
