Battery Electrical Drain

Battery electrical drain is a small amount of current required by specific control modules that is needed to retain system memory and system monitoring. Too much electrical drain, however, can cause an extremely discharged and/or permanently damaged battery. To test the battery electrical drain, refer to "Parasitic Load Test" in the following procedure.
