Flywheel: Service and Repair

Tools Required, or equivalent:
^ J36660 Torque Angle Meter
^ J37096 Flywheel Holding Tool

REMOVAL
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the flywheel housing.
3. Remove the flywheel bolts.
4. Remove the flywheel. Use the Flywheel Holding Tool in order to prevent crankshaft rotation.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the flywheel. Use the Flywheel Holding Tool in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating.
2. Install the flywheel bolts. Tighten the flywheel bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft)+50°. Use the Torque Angle Meter in order to rotate the bolts an additional 50 degrees.
3. Install the flywheel housing.
4. Install the transmission.
