Compressor Mounting Brackets

Remove or Disconnect

1. Generator.
2. Power steering pump.
3. Air conditioning compressor.
4. Bolts/screws (49, 50, 51 and 52).
5. Spark plug wire support (53).
6. Bracket (48).

Install or Connect

1. Bracket (48).
2. Spark plug wire support (53).
3. Bolts/screws (49, 50, 51 and 52) loosely.

Tighten
^ In sequence:
- Bolt/screw (49) to 33 N.m (24 lb. ft.).
- Bolt/screw (50) to 33 N.m (24 lb. ft.).
- Bolt/screw (51) to 33 N.m (24 lb. ft.).
- Bolt/screw (52) to 33 N.m (24 lb. ft.).

4. Air conditioning compressor.
5. Power steering pump.
6. Generator.
7. Bleed power steering system.
8. Charge A/C system. Refer to "Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Recharging Procedures."
9. Leak-test A/C fitting at rear of compressor. Refer to "Leak-Testing the Refrigeration System."
