Tire Monitoring System: Description and Operation

When any tire on the vehicle has low pressure the Electronic Brake Control Module sends a voltage signal through circuit 1084 to the Driver Information Display/Trip Calculator. This causes the "CHECK TIRE PRESSURE" indicator to illuminate. After checking and filling the tires with the appropriate amount of air, the tires should be good. Press the Check Tire Pressure Reset Switch to turn the "CHECK TIRE PRESSURE" display off on the Driver Information Display/Trip Calculator. The Check Tire Pressure Reset Switch sends a ground signal through circuit 1084 and resets the "CHECK TIRE PRESSURE" indicator.
