Lamp Short Test

With all the doors closed, the Headlamp Switch turned off and I/P Dimmer Switch turned off, disconnect the Door Ajar Switches, (as necessary see schematic) and the Body Control Module (BCM) one at a time.
^ If the lamps go out when a particular component is disconnected, replace that component.
^ If the lamps remain lit with all switches disconnected, disconnect the Headlamp Switch. If lamps go out, check CKT 159 (LH Front Door) or CKT 49 (RH Front, LH and RH Rear Door) for a short to ground. Check CKT 690 for a short to ground
^ Check CKT 1393 for a short to B+ If OK, replace BCM.
