Troubleshooting Hints
1. Check the INT LAMP Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 240 for a short to ground.2. Check the PWR LOCK Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 1540 for a short to ground.
3. Check the I/P-IGN Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 39 for a short to ground.
4. Check the MALL Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 443 for a short to ground.
5. Check the MALL PGM Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 1445 for a short to ground.
6. Check the HEADLAMP Circuit Breaker for an open. If the Circuit Breaker is blown check CKT 2440 for a short to ground.
7. Check the RADIO Fuse for an open. If the Fuse is blown check CKT 640 for a short to ground.
8. Make sure that G200 is clean and tight.
9. Check if the modes are functioning properly.
10. If a low battery condition exists you will lose all function of the Body Control Module (BCM) features and you will not be able to enter diagnostics.
11. If you are in the diagnostic mode you can check the function of the features connected to the Body Control Module. Refer to Circuit Operation Input/Output Diagnostics. Circuit Operation
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
