Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check PWR ACCY Fuse 7 for open.
2. If both mirrors are inoperative, check for poor connections at the Outside Rear-view Mirror Switch.
3. Check that G200 is clean and tight.
4. If only one mirror operates properly, check for poor connections at RH Outside Rear-view Mirror or RH Outside Rear-view Mirror.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
