Excessive Heat

The most likely cause of excessive heat from the heater system is a disconnected, mis-adjusted or nonfunctional temperature control cable. Refer to Temperature Control Cable Adjustment or Temperature Control Cable. Air Door Cable A hot air leak from the engine compartment to the blower inlet is also a remote possibility.
