Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear window trim panel.
2. Open the rear compartment lid.
3. Depress the two retaining tabs (1) on the underside of the high-mounted stoplamp and slide the lamp assembly toward the front of the vehicle.
4. Close the rear compartment lid.
5. From inside the vehicle, lift the high-mounted stoplamp assembly locating tabs (2) out of the slots on the rear shelf panel.
6. Rotate the high-mounted stoplamp sockets counterclockwise to release from the high-mounted stoplamp assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the high-mounted stop amp sockets to the high-mounted stoplamp assembly, then rotate the sockets clockwise to secure.
2. Install the high-mounted stoplamp assembly locating tabs (2) into the slots on the rear shelf panel.
3. Slide the stoplamp assembly toward the rear of the vehicle to secure the retaining tabs (1).
4. Install the rear window trim panel.
