Headlamps
Voltage is applied to the
headlamp switch at all times through circuit 2440. When the headlamp switch is in the HEAD position, voltage is applied to
headlamp dimmer switch and voltage is removed from circuit 306 which disengages the DRL control module. When the headlamp dimmer switch is placed in the LOW position, battery voltage is applied to the underhood accessory wiring junction block and then to the low beam headlamps through circuit 12. When the headlamp dimmer switch is placed in the HIGH position, voltage is applied to the underhood accessory wiring junction block and then to the high beam headlamps, instrument cluster and instrument cluster head up display for the high beam indicator through circuit 11.
