Circuit Operation

With the headlamp switch in the HEAD position and the fog lamp switch in the ON position, voltage is supplied to the Fog LPS Relay coil through circuit 317. The fog lamps relay coil is grounded through the high beam filaments through circuit 11. The fog lamps relay energizes and applies voltage to the fog lamps through circuit 34. Since the coil of the Fog LPS Relay is grounded through the high beam filaments, the relay will de-energize any time the high beams are on because voltage is applied to both sides of the relay coil.
