Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

NOTE:
1. Check Power Accessory Fuse by visual inspection.
2. If PWR ACC fuse blows when replaced, check the 1240 circuit and the Folding Top Switch for a short to ground.

1. Check Power Window Circuit Breaker for continuous cycling.
2. If POW WINDOW CIRCUIT BREAKER cycles repeatedly when replaced, check the 141 circuit and the Folding Top Relay for a short to ground.
^ Check the Power Window Circuit Breaker by operating the Power Windows (if equipped).
^ Check PWR ACC Fuse by operating Power Locks.
^ Check that top is not binding or folding unevenly.
^ Check for broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove Good in continuity/voltage check (refer to Troubleshooting Procedure).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
3. The Folding Top skews during operation. Check the Folding Top for a binding, bent linkage or other obstructions. Observe that both of the Folding Top Motors are operating continuously when operating the Folding Top.
