Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right sound insulator.
2. Disconnect the lower electrical connector.
2.1. Press down on the center tab of the multi-use bracket (1).
2.2. Slide the module (3) downward until the mounting rails are disengaged.
3. Disconnect the upper electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Carefully follow the installation procedure when replacing the RFA module in order to avoid malfunctions or inoperative options. If the RPO options are improperly set, the RFA system may become inoperative.

1. Connect the upper electrical connector.
1.1. Align the mounting rails on the module (3) with the mounting rails on the multi-use bracket (1).
1.2. Slide the module (3) upward into place until the mounting rails align and the locking tab engages.
2. Connect the lower electrical connector.
3. Install the right sound insulator.
4. Program the RFA module. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Reprogramming. Testing and Inspection
5. Program the transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Programming. Service and Repair
