Power Seats Circuit

The sport seats incorporate a power adjust for the mechanical system used for controlling the comfort features of the seats by mechanically moving the seats and/or seat backs. The mechanical system consists of the following components:
- Console seat switch
- Seat control module
- Seat motors (4 per seat)

The console seat switch contains 5 individual switches. The switches control the seat motors via the seat control module. The seat control module has 9 inputs from the console seat switch.

When the seat select switch is put in the LEFT position, the left/right select input to the seat control module is an open circuit. When the seat select switch is put in the RIGHT position, the left/right select input to the seat control module is grounded and ground is applied to all individual seat control switches. When one of these seat control switches is operated, the corresponding inputs to the seat control module are grounded. The seat control module then energizes its associated internal motor direction relays and motor control relays. Battery positive voltage (B+) is supplied to the appropriate seat motor and seat position is adjusted accordingly.
