Vacuum Reservoir HVAC: Service and Repair

VACUUM TANK REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn the front wheels to the right.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove 2 vacuum tank mounting screws.
4. Remove the vacuum hose from the tank.
5. Remove the vacuum tank from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the vacuum tank.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 2 screws to secure the vacuum tank.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Install the vacuum hose to the tank.
4. Lower the vehicle.
