CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) identifies a malfunction within the Electronic Brake (and Traction) Control Module (EBCM/EBTCM).

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) C0550 is set when an internal Electronic Brake (and Traction) Control Module (EBCM/EBTCM) malfunction exists.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
^ A malfunction Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) stores.
^ The Antilock Brake System/Traction Control System (ABS/TCS) disables.
^ The amber ABS/TCS indicator(s) turn on.
^ The Red BRAKE Warning indicator turns on.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
^ Condition for Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is no longer present and Scan tool clear DTC function is used.
^ 100 ignition cycles pass with no DTCs detected.
