Rear Window Defogger Switch

The rear defogger switch, when activated, slowly heats the rear window in order to remove interior fog or outside snow and ice. The switch has an integral lamp. The switch will operate for 5 or 10 minutes, depending on the following conditions:
^ Vehicle speed
^ Outside window temperature
^ Atmospheric pressure
^ The number of passengers

The switch will automatically turn oft or may be turned oft as follows:
^ Through the use of a timer
^ Through the I/P switch
^ By turning the ignition switch to the OFF position. The rear defogger switch is located with the HVAC controls
