Notice: Do not use the J 36660 Torque Angle Meter to rotate the retaining bolt an additional 90 degrees. The torque capacity of the tool will be exceeded and damage to the tool will result.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the retaining bolt and washer.
^ Tighten the bolt to 175 Nm (129 ft. lbs.). Use the J 38122 to prevent the crankshaft from rotating.
4. Put a mark on the socket next to one of the four marks on the J 38122. This mark will represent the zero point or 0 degrees. Tighten the bolt by rotating the socket clockwise 90 degrees. At 90 degrees the socket indexes with the next mark on the tool.
