RANGE SHRT00000000 OPEN00000000 (BINARY DISPLAY):
Output driver modules are used to allow various systems to function by providing a ground circuit. The scan tool will display 0s in each of the 8 positions when the circuitry is OK. If a 1 appears in any of the positions, then either a short or open circuit is being detected. Refer to PCM Outputs Diagnosis for further information.
