Backup Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove secondary backup lite retaining nuts.
2. Remove secondary backup lite assembly.
3. Push secondary backup lite assembly outward from rear fascia.




4. Remove the socket.
Twist socket and outward.
5. Remove the bulb.
Twist the bulb and pull outward.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the bulb.
Push the bulb inward and twist until the bulb retained.
2. Install the socket.
Push the socket inward and twist until the unit is retained.
3. Install the secondary backup lite to the rear fascia.




NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the secondary backup lite retaining nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the secondary backup lite retaining nuts to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
