Turn Signal Reminder

The BCM sounds the turn signal reminder 1 time per each flash of the turn signal lights when the following conditions exist:
^ The ignition switch is in the RUN position
^ The turn signal switch is in either the left turn position or the right turn position. The BCM senses, within 1 second, an open to the 8+ transition in either circuit 14 or circuit 15.
^ The vehicle has traveled a distance of 1.2 km (3/4 mile). The BCM counts the pulses on the vehicle speed input circuit 389.

The BCM keeps the turn signal reminder active until one of the following conditions exist:
1. The ignition switch is turned to the UNLOCK position or the OFF position
2. The turn signal switch returns to the OFF position. The BCM senses, within 1 second, an open to the 8+ transition in either circuit 14 or circuit 15.
