Instrument Panel (IP) - Air Deflector/Louver Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: In cold weather if the instrument panel pad is not at room temperature, warm the instrument panel pad around the air outlet deflector in order to allow the instrument panel pad to become pliable for removal of the air outlet deflector.




1. Wrap the ends of the needle nose pliers with tape to avoid maring the surface of the air outlet deflector, if being reused.




2. Remove the air outlet deflector from the instrument panel by pulling from right and left side of the air outlet deflector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the air outlet deflector to the instrument panel.




2. Install the air outlet deflector to the instrument panel pressing into place until fully seated.
3. Inspect the air outlet deflector for proper movement.
