Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the fuel cap (4).
2. Remove the fuel tank filler door to rear quarter panel retaining torx screws (1).
3. Remove the fuel tank filler door (2) from the rear quarter panel (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Position the fuel tank filler door (2) to the rear quarter panel (3).
2. Install the fuel tank filler door to rear quarter panel retaining torx screws (1).
3. Align the fuel tank filler door to achieve an equal gap of 1.5 to 2.5 mm (0.06 to 0.10 in) around the fuel tank filler door (2) to the rear quarter panel (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Tighten the fuel tank filler door to rear quarter panel retaining torx screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the fuel cap (4).
