Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (LHD) (Service and Repair) .




2. Disconnect the rear compartment lid wiring connector (1) to rear compartment lid release switch.
3. Remove the rear compartment lid release switch (2) from the instrument panel compartment.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear compartment lid release switch (2) to the instrument panel compartment.
2. Connect the rear compartment lid wiring connector (1) to rear compartment lid release switch (2).
3. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (LHD) (Service and Repair) .
4. If re-programming is required. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
