Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
3. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
4. Lower the window to full down.





Important: Starting at the rear of the front door use a suitable tool to pry the window inner sealing strip (1) out of the door (2) then pull by hand.


5. Remove the window inner sealing strip (1) from the rear of the front door (2).





Important: Pull remaining window sealing strip (1) from the door (2). Observe the orientation of the locating tabs (3) this will aid in correct re-installation.


6. Remove the window inner sealing strip (1) from the door (2).



Installation Procedure






Important: Push the window inner sealing in by hand. The locating tabs (3) are at the top of the window inner sealing strip (1) and must fit into the correct location in the door (2) for correct sealing and operation.


1. Install the window inner sealing strip (1) into the door (2).
2. Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
3. Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
