Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Window)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Beltline) (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Beltline)) .
3. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .





Important: Use a suitable tool to pry the window inner sealing strip (1) out of the door (2) then pull by hand.


4. Remove the window inner sealing strip (1) from the front of the rear door (2).





Important: Pull remaining window sealing strip (1) from the door (2). Observe the orientation of the locating tabs (3) this will aid in correct re-installation.


5. Remove the window inner sealing (2) from the door (1).



Installation Procedure






Important: Push the window inner sealing in by hand. The locating tabs (3) are at the top of the window inner sealing strip (2) and must fit into the correct location in the door (1) for correct sealing and operation. .


1. Install the window inner sealing strip (2) to the door (1).
2. Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
3. Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement) .
4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
