Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure





1. Using a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry and release the retaining clips which secure the IP accessory left trim plate (1) to the instrument panel assembly.
2. Disconnect the following components:

* The power mirror switch electrical connector
* The dimmer switch electrical connector

3. Remove the power mirror switch, if necessary. Refer to Power Mirror Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the dimmer switch, if necessary. Refer to Instrument Panel Lamp Dimmer Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the dimmer switch, if removed. Refer to Instrument Panel Lamp Dimmer Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Install the power mirror switch, if removed. Refer to Power Mirror Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Connect the following components:

* The dimmer switch electrical connector
* The power mirror switch electrical connector

4. Install the IP accessory center trim plate (1) to the IP assembly. Ensure that the retaining clips are fully engaged.
