Tire Pressure Monitoring Receiver Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the headlining trim panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the bolt from the tire pressure monitoring receiver (1).




4. Disconnect the connector (1).
5. Remove the receiver (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the connector to the tire pressure monitoring receiver (4).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the receiver and the bolt (3). Engage the 2 tabs (1, 2) into the holes.

Tighten the bolt to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in).

3. Install the headlining trim panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
5. Initialize the system. Refer to Tire Pressure Monitor System Configuration (Programming and Relearning).
