Parking Brake Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair).

Parking Brake:

2. Disconnect the park brake switch electrical connector (10).
3. Remove the screw (12) from the park brake switch (5).
4. Remove the park brake switch.



Installation Procedure

Parking Brake:

1. Install the park brake switch (5) to the park brake lever.
2. Install the screw (12) to the park brake switch.
3. Connect the park brake switch electrical connector (10).
4. Inspect the park brake lever travel. Adjust the park brake lever travel if necessary. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment (Adjustments).
5. Install the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair).
