Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove both windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Convertible) (Service and Repair)Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair).
2. With a flat-bladed tool, release the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim clips from the I/P.

Important: Do not scratch the ambient light sensor with the retaining clip at the center of the I/P upper trim panel.


3. Remove the ambient light sensor from the I/P upper trim panel.




4. Remove the I/P upper trim panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the I/P upper trim panel to the I/P.
2. Install the ambient light sensor.
3. Align the trim panel with the I/P and push towards the I/P to engage the upper trim panel clips.
4. Install both windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Convertible) (Service and Repair)Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair).
