Rear Compartment Courtesy Lamp Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.





Important: Insert a suitable tool under the rear compartment lamp (2) and pry the rear compartment lamp (2) from the rear shelf (1).


2. Remove the rear compartment lamp (2) from the rear shelf (1).




3. Disconnect the rear compartment lamp electrical connectors (1).
4. Remove the rear compartment lamp (2) from the vehicle.

Important: Bend back the contact lever (4) that retains the rear compartment lamp bulb (3) to remove.


5. Remove the rear compartment lamp bulb (3) from the rear compartment lamp assembly (2).

Installation Procedure





Important: Make sure the NEW rear compartment lamp bulb (3) is correctly positioned in the contact lever (4).


1. Install the NEW rear compartment lamp bulb (3) to the rear compartment lamp assembly (2).
2. Connect the rear compartment lamp assembly electrical connectors (1).





Important: Pivot the rear compartment lamp (2) into the rear shelf (1) and press into position. Listen for an audible click to confirm correct fitment.


3. Install the rear compartment lamp (2) to the rear shelf (1).
4. Check all vehicle lamps for correct operation.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
