Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Remove the storage compartment (1) to I/P tower retaining screws (2).
3. Remove the storage compartment (1) from the I/P tower.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the storage compartment (1) to the I/P tower.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the storage compartment to I/P tower retaining screws (2) and tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
3. Install the trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Operate the storage compartment lid for correct operation.
