Front Fog Lamp Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Battery Disconnect Warning).

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).

Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.


Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning (Safety Glasses Warning).

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the air deflector from the front end of the vehicle. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).




4. Disconnect the front fog lamp assembly electrical connector (2).

Note: Press the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1) inward and push the front fog lamp assembly (3) forward to detach.

5. Detach the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1).




6. Remove the front fog lamp assembly (2) from the front fascia (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front fog lamp assembly (2) to the front fascia (1).





Note: Push the front fog lamp assembly (3) rearwards to engage the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1). Listen for an audible click to confirm fitting.

2. Attach the front fog lamp assembly to front fascia retaining clips (1).
3. Connect the front fog lamp assembly electrical connector (2).
4. Install the air deflector to the front end of the vehicle. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Lower the vehicle.
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Battery Disconnect Warning).

6. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
7. Aim the fog lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming (Procedures).
