Convertible Top Latch: Adjustments
LOCKING UNITIn the event that all the adjustment capabilities for the locking motors or manual locking system in the roof frame are exhausted, the sliding block guides in the windshield frame can be appropriately adjusted.
Transverse adjustment: by a slot in the sliding block guide.
Longitudinal adjustment: by installing shims between the sliding block guide and windshield frame.
The closing cranks associated with the locking motors or manual locking system must engage the sliding block guides in the windshield frame without fouling the leading edge.
The adjustment process is the same for both electrically and manually operated tops.
