Top Drive
Top DriveTop drive consists of two mechanically coupled electric motors (1), which drive swing-type gearboxes (3) on the left and right sides via flexible shafts (2) for each side (similar to 911 Convertibles).
Drive motors are bolted on a cross member behind the backrests and are accessible after removing a cover.
The gearbox shaft of the swing-type gearbox has a steering arm (4), which transmits the motion via thrust rod 1(5) to the connecting arm (6) on the main bow. Another pivot point of connecting arm (6) on the main bow is the connection via thrust rod II(7) with the mount on the body.
The loosened bolts on gearboxes must be replaced when a car is brought into a workshop for repairs after an emergency operation. Tightening torque: 35 Nm.
