Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

Air Flow Meter/Air Intake Sensor:

The air intake sensor supplies information to the DME control unit concerning the temperature of the air entering the intake system. The sensor is a NTC (negative temperature co-efficient) type thermistor and is located in the air flow meter.
