413 Throttle Jacking Unit, Lower Mechanical Stop - Signal Implausible
P1506
413 Throttle Jacking Unit, Lower Mechanical Stop - Signal Implausible
Function
The throttle is positioned by an electric motor. As the mechanical throttle position is not calibrated in line with the actual value measured by the potentiometer, the mechanical stop of the throttle must be adapted by the DME control module. During adaptation, the lower mechanical throttle stop and emergency air position are learned. The learned values are stored in the memory.
Diagnosis conditions
- Ignition on (approx. 30 sec.)
- Stationary vehicle
- Engine not running
- Engine temperature between 5 and 100 °C
- Intake air temperature between 5 and 100 °C
- Battery voltage > 10 V
- Accelerator value < 0.8 %
