Complaint 6:
Rattling from the side area of the roof frame above the door.





Cause:
The bearing (H figure 10) of roof frame 2, is loose where it attaches to roof frame 1. The frame members have to be insulated from each other.

Repair:
Open the top half way. Check to see if the bearing surface has play. Grab roof frame 1 a and roof frame 2 and shake them in a lateral direction. If the bearing is loose, the play will Roof frame be evident, and the noise will be heard If play 2 is found, roof frame 2 should be wrapped with a 25 x 85rnm felt strip (a, figure 10). A 20 x 20 mm strip of Teflon tape should also be attached to the contact area between roof frame 2 and the side on the roof frame 1 (b, figure 10).
