Situation:
Locking peg broken.

Information:
Previously the whole windstop had to be replaced if the locking peg broke. As of now the locking pegs, including locking handle and compression spring, are available as a parts set.

Procedure for removal and installation of the locking peg:

CAUTION!
Windstop frame can be damaged if locking handle is not properly removed. Risk of injury through the springing out of compression springs and locking pegs.

To stop the compression spring springing out during the removal of the locking handle, hold the locking peg with your hand.

> Unclip the red locking handle upwards with a putty knife or similar implement.

> When installing the locking handle make sure that the arrow symbol on the handle is pointing towards the symbols on the windstop frame.
