Note:
The standard tailpipes may be replaced by chrome-plated tailpipes with twin-exhaust appearance (Figure 1). Installation of the tailpipes will not compromise engine performance, emissions or noise of the vehicle.
These tailpipes are also available ex-works for new vehicles under Exclusive Option No. X54".

Note:
The Porsche logo and the code EP6120 are visible on the underside when the tailpipes are installed (Figure 2).

Installation:
1. Preparatory work.
1.1 Raise the vehicle the height of the vehicle, taking care not to damage any side members (factory-fitted aerokit; Exclusive Option No. XAF).
1.2 Remove both standard tailpipes.
1.2.1 Loosen the fastening clamp on the underside of the tailpipe.
1.2.2 Carefully separate the tailpipe from the main muffler by tapping it lightly with a hammer, e.g. a plastic hammer.
2. Install both chrome-plated tailpipes.
2.1 Loosen the hexagon head bolt M8 on the fastening clamp of the tailpipe.
2.2 Position the tailpipe on the outlet pipe of the respective muffler and align roughly in the cutout in the rear spoiler.
Note:
When positioning and aligning, take care not to displace or twist the inner clamp in the tailpipe!
2.3 Adjust and align the tailpipe as follows:
- Adjust dimension A = max. 25 mm and dimension B = mm. 20 mm (according to Figure 3) and
- Align the tailpipe symmetrically to the cutout in rear spoiler.
2.4 Securely fasten the hexagon-head bolt M8 to the tailpipe.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.).
3. Remove vehicle from the lifting platform.
