Stall speed, transmission input - signal implausible
Gear monitoring, transmission input speed - signal implausible

Function
The transmission input speed/engine speed ratio or transmission input speed/transmission output speed ratio is monitored.
The "reduced driving programme" is activated in the event of an incorrect signal.

Diagnosis conditions
- Selector lever position "D", gear 2, 3, 4 or 5
- ATF temperature > 60 °C
- Engine speed > 3104 rpm

NOTE: If the faults described in the diagnosis procedure were remedied and no other faults are stored, there could be a fault in the torque converter or in the transmission.

1 Check sensor for transmission input speed with wiring.
1. Remove Tiptronic control module connector.
2. Connect ohmmeter to Tiptronic control module connector pin 16 and pin 44.
Display: 230 ... 300 Ohms

2 Check sensor for transmission speed with wiring.
1. Remove Tiptronic control module connector.
2. Connect ohmmeter to Tiptronic control module connector pin 14 and pin 42.
Display: 0.80 ... 1.2 kohms
