Diagnostic of Camshaft Position SensorThe purpose of this function is to control the signal change of the camshaft position sensor.
If the signal during a fixed number of engine revolutions continuously is high or low a max or min fault is detected.
If there is no regular alternating of the signal (change of high and low with revolution of the camshaft) for a fixed cycle, a plausibility failure is detected (see Diagnostic of Camshaft Position Sensor).
